How does the contest work?
It's easy!
Is your garden in desperate need of a makeover? Does your fantasy backyard look nothing like what you see out the kitchen window?
Upload a picture of your yard or garden on the "Submit an Entry" page. Tell us in 300 words or less why you think you deserve the Get Your Summer On Backyard Makeover. Our panel of landscape designers and industry experts will select 20 backyards and offer makeover options. The stories will run in the Sunday Home and Garden section beginning May 6. At the end of five weeks, winners will be selected.
Are there prizes?
Yes! We've got great prizes – products that will enhance your backyard from landscaping materials to patio furniture to ponds. We have smaller prizes for all 20 who are selected, as well as larger prizes worth more than $10,000. The winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts.
Contest Dates
The submission period begins on March 6, 2012 at 12:00am and ends on April 8, 2012 at 12:00pm .
Winner announcements will begin on May 6, 2012.
